GB3 UB seems to have a problem with access. It seems the filter is very tight. The idea was to set it to work on 12.5KHz seems that many radios are set very wide even on 'narrow' Anyway will try and get it sorted soon. In the mean time if you keep the audio to a minimum you should be able to gain access.

MB7UB continues to operate OK.
Hi I am Chris G4KVI and I am the keeper for GB3UB and MB7UB in Bath.

First a little about the repeaters. These are available for use by all radio amateurs. For more information on amateur radio go to the RSGB web site. They are both located on the roof of Bath university. This is a very good radio site with clear views across the city.

GB3UB is the 70cm 433mhz voice repeater and operates on 433.100mhz/434.700mhz it has a ctcss tone of 118.8hz. It covers an area around Bath, out towards Chipenham, down towards Midsomer Norton and across towards Westbury.

MB7UB is the APRS data digipeater. It enables stations equipped with APRS to improve their coverage especially when mobile. It operates on 144.800mhz and has a similar coverage to GB3UB.

I will use this blog to provide updates on the repeaters and any other local radio information.
